Dr. Shirish Pathak is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with specialized expertise in arthroscopy, shoulder surgery, and sports injuries. With over 20 years of clinical experience, he leads his own Ortho Sports Clinic in Pune and practices at Deenanath Mangeshkar Super Specialty Hospital, where he also leads the Department of Shoulder & Sports Injury.

Dr. Pathak has treated thousands of patients and athletes and has performed more than 10,000 shoulder and knee arthroscopic procedures to date. He is a faculty member for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine (National Board) and serves as Fellowship Director for the Arthroscopy and Shoulder Surgery Fellowship Programme.

He is also the Course Director for the RCS London–accredited Core Skills Course in Knee & Shoulder Arthroscopy and the organizer of the prestigious Pune Shoulder Course, conducted every two years.

Beyond his surgical practice, Dr. Pathak is a dedicated endurance athlete, having completed multiple marathons and Ironman triathlons—reflecting his deep understanding of athlete biomechanics, recovery, and performance.
